Facelift is a procedure to restore a more youthful appearance to the aging face and neck. It takes approximately four hours and is performed in our office operating suite under general anesthesia or twilight sleep. Blepharoplasty (Eyelid Surgery)
Blepharoplasty, or eyelid surgery, is indicated when there is extra skin in the upper eyelids and puffy bags in the lower lids. The procedure is performed in our office operating suite and takes about an hour for upper or lower lids and about two hours for both. Initial recovery is about a week and full recovery takes several weeks. Corner Mouth Lift
Corner mouth lift is undertaken when the down turned corners of the mouth give a look of perpetual frowning. The procedure is performed in our office operating suite and takes about an hour. It can be performed under local anesthesia or twilight sleep and is often combined with other facial procedures. Initial recovery is about a week and full recovery takes a few months. Liposuction of the Neck
Liposuction of the neck can improve the contour of the chin and jaw in individuals with fatty deposits in the neck. The procedure is performed in our office operating suite and takes about half an hour under twilight sleep or general anesthesia. Tightening of the muscles of the neck (platysmaplasty) is also recommended in individuals with lax neck muscles. Initial recovery is about a week and full recovery takes a couple of months. Full Abdominoplasty (Tummy Tuck)
Full abdominoplasty, or tummy tuck, is a procedure to remove loose abdominal skin and tighten lax abdominal muscles that may exist after pregnancy or weight loss. The procedure is performed in our office operating suite or a hospital and takes about three hours under general anesthesia. Initial recovery is a couple of weeks but six or eight weeks are necessary for 80 to 90 percent recovery and full recovery takes six to twelve months. Labiaplasty
Labiaplasty is a procedure to reduce the size of the labia minora, or "inner lips," of the vagina. It is most often requested when women experience pain or embarrassment related to the size of the labia, a phenomenon seen with increasing frequency in this era of skimpy clothing, thong underwear, and bikini waxing. Labiaplasty is an outpatient procedure performed under general anesthesia or sedation. After surgery there may be swelling and variable discomfort but patients can resume most activities within a couple of weeks, although it is advised that intercourse and vigorous activity such as horseback riding be avoided for six weeks.

Injectables
BOTOX® Cosmetic, Restylane®, Juvéderm™ and More
BOTOX® Cosmetic is an injectable substance designed to temporarily inactivate small muscles in the face that cause the skin to wrinkle. It is commonly given in the forehead, between the eyebrows, and the "crow's foot" area of the eyelids. Results last about three or four months. Restylane®, Juvéderm™ and similar injectables are designed to fill out fine lines and wrinkles near the lips and other areas of the face.
